Quick, Simple, Fresh cooking class
In this 75-minute interactive cooking class, participants will learn to prepare three simple, delicious, and heart-healthy no-cook recipes. The class features a cooking demonstration for each recipe, followed by hands-on preparation, tastings of all the dishes, and recipe handouts. Participants will also receive key nutrition tips to help them recreate the recipes at home.
The menu typically includes: a white bean or hummus wrap OR tuna lettuce wraps, a three-bean salad, and either sweet potato nachos (if an oven is available) or flavored popcorn (savory and sweet) if no oven is accessible. This class is best held in a kitchen with both an oven and a microwave.
